Summer sun and festival style weddings
Oh it’s oh so cold this February, so I’ve decided to share this lovely warm festival style wedding fair that took place at Fairthorne Manor last September. This is probably one of the first (if not the first) of it’s kind where I live and is the brain child of Lovely and Unique wedding fairs (now re-branded to Little Bird Events). I love a relaxed festival style wedding so this was so up my street. I had a stall outside in front of a little bell tent (in case it did rain then we could all go into the tents) provided by Baylily bell tents. It was a tad windy but very sunny and what with the live music outdoors from All in the swing and Fake garage door, food from Cafe Royal and yummy freshly baked pizza from Catchafire, and ice cream from Caravanilla, it was such a pleasure to be there. Here are some of photos I took on the day – mostly of the outdoor suppliers as there was also a huge marquee there which I did not really get much time to venture into. There are more photos from other photographers on the Little Bird events page though if you’d like to take a look. All photos taken on my trusty 35mm film camera and readily available fuji superia film. Film developed and scanned by UK Film Lab.
This blog post is also part of my film blog circle so do take a look at my friend Jen Golay’s post here for her contribution and then follow the links around to see more filmy images.
