A selection of images from June: children and family photography

It’s time for my monthly blog circle of friends from around the world to share what last month looked like for us.  It was a fairly busy month in terms of school commitments, but it also gave me varied opportunities for photography.  After May being busy with weddings, June was about Nursery shoots, lots of family photography, a 50s style hen party, the school’s summer fair and sports day, and of course Father’s day.   Although not technically taken last month, this photo did get featured in Belle Bebes post on father’s day!

We were very lucky enough to have glorious sunshine here in the UK for a change.

And I tried a bit of free-lensing.  This is where you take the lens off the camera and move it around to try to find the focus/sweet spot! I guess you could say that this is the poor photographer’s version of a lensbaby or a tilt and shift lens.

So this is what June looked like for me.  Please take a look at Alex Rickard’s blog post to see what she has been up to recently.
